Registration Deadline – August 15, 2010

 

Don’t miss out on Pittsburgh’s #1 Youth Co-Ed Flag Football Fall Season!! Register Now! All games will be played on Sunday's in the North Hills.  Tentative Start Date is Sunday September 12, 2010 through Sunday, October 31, 2010 (regular season). The league will consist of three age groups: 1) 6-8 years; 2) 9-12 years; and 3) 13-17 years. The regular season will consist of 8 games with all teams participating in the playoffs.  Playoffs will be single elimination and played on November 7, 2010.  All games will be 50 minutes long

 

Cost:  $100.00 Per Player – Includes 8 Regular Season Games plus Playoffs and Super Bowl, Game Jerseys, Referee Fees, Player of the Week Medals, End of Season Trophies for All Participants and Special Recognition Awards.

 

Advance registration is required.  Registration is limited and is based on a first come-first served basis.  Registrations forms can be completed and sent via US Mail to Backyard Sports, 602 Park Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 or you may register online via PayPal (see information below).  Registration forms will not be accepted after the 8/15/2010 deadline.

 

The draft will take place on August 25th and August 26th for the various age groups.  Players and parents need not be present at the draft…only coaches are required to attend.  A coach will be in contact with you after the draft to provide you with the details of your team by August 31st.

 

Raffle Ticket Fundraiser

 

The only fundraiser Backyard Sports asks registered players to participate in is the selling of eight (8) $10 raffle tickets.  In turn, we do not require parents to volunteer their time at the Concession Stand, assisting with 50/50 raffle ticket sales, field set-up, officiating games or any other activities in order that you may watch your son or daughter play Backyard Flag Football!   We do not receive any funding from outside sources.

All Participants Must Sell 8 - $10 Raffle Tickets

 

All players are responsible for selling 8 tickets and turning the ticket stubs and money in by the due date stipulated on the ticket envelope.  Your initials on the paper registration form will confirm your acknowledgement of the ticket stipulation.  Accessing PayPal for online payment will also serve as your agreement to sell eight (8) $10 tickets in addition to the $100 registration fee.
